Logipad Ground Process

Logipd Ground Services provide a standardized ground process for all different applications and documents. The process starts with a central web-interface for administration.

Furthermore, the usage of this web-interface serves to upload new updates for the different applications or any new documents.

All new updates are automatically moved to dedicated review environment. This means that they need to be tested and approved, before new data is synchronized to the devices. Only clarified responsibilities are able to release new updates for the devices, after they have been tested.

There is one global routine that updates all documents and applications. This routine can also deploy completly new applications to be installed on the relevant devices.

During the synchronization process, all log information is collected and imported to a central reporting database.

The ground people can easily view this logging information by accessing the predefined Logipad compliance reports. With these reports, it is possible to get a complete overview of all devices.

This is the ground process provided by Logipad, where all updates are handled from different software suppliers with a reliable process.

Starting with an easy administration tool to upload information, several tests are required, before everything is pushed to the devices.

In the end, the ground people get a written approval for the authorities that the airline's EFB is under control.
