Administration Interface

The administrartion interface is the web-based key tool for the ground people or content administrators to upload any kind of updates (documents and applications) for the system.

The interface can also be used to control the two following processes:

  • Release of any updates to the system.
  • Viewing the compliance reports.

In addition, the configuration of dedicated user/device groups pushes selected content for specific groups only. This is very important for Class-II devices, as only aircraft related content is allowed to reside on the device.

Due to the huge functionality of the system, there are two different types of user roles working within the interface to access specific functionalities.

The content administrartors can only upload new data or do any configurations in the interface. However, they have no ability to release any content to any productive system.

On the other hand, the release administrators have the full right on the system to move any updates from the review environment to all devices.
